Starting a collection of art

I have begun a collection of images, each a product of my own imagination. These images are inspired by women’s feelings at different times in history.

As I work on each piece, I try to transport myself back in time. I imagine the lives of these women and the emotions that must have gone through their veins.

I tried to depict anguish, anger, unfairness, sadness, etc… I paint these women to honor their struggles and to remind us of our collective history. I hope that my work will inspire others to reflect on our shared humanity and to fight for a more just world.

With each prompt, I seek to capture the essence of these women’s feelings. I seek to convey their emotions that must have driven them in a world that was (and still is) often hostile and unforgiving.

It is my hope that, through my art, I can offer a glimpse into the lives of these forgotten women. I hope to show the complexity of their existence at different times.
