Beginner’s Guide to Creating 3-Panel Story Art Using Canva
Are you a beginner at image editing and looking to enhance your AI art?
This beginner-friendly guide will help you create a 3-panel story art using Canva’s free version.
Don’t worry if you have no prior experience — everyone starts somewhere. So let’s jump in!
Step 1: Start a New Design:
On the top-right of Canva’s dashboard, click on “Create a design.”
Next, click on “Custom size”, and input the dimensions as 1920 x 2520 pixels.
- This will allow you to add 3 images with aspect ratio of 16:7, what is perfect for creating impactful story art.
Now, confirm your choice by clicking on “Create a new design”.
Step 2: Upload Your Images
On the left side of the screen, click on “Uploads”. Then, choose “Upload Files”.
Select Your Images, by finding the files of images that you want to use in your design, and clicking on “open”.
Step 3: Add Your Images to your design
Wait for the Images to load. When it’s done… You can add an Image to Your Design, by clicking on the thumbnail image.
Step 4: Adjust Your Image
Move your image to the canvas corner and stretch it to conform to the canvas width.
Add images 2 and 3, and repeat the adjustment for them.
Step 5: Download Your Design
Once you’re happy with your design,
- On the top-right of the window, click on “Share”.
- Click on “Download”
- Next: Make sure “PNG” is selected, then click on “Download”.
- Wait for the download conclude.
Step 6: Your Design is Ready!
Check the file after the download of the new image has complete.
If everything is OK: Congratulations!
Your design is ready to be shared with the world.
